About Us – Latvian Handmade Fishing Lures
Omery is a family-owned fishing lure manufacturer based in Latvia, with a proud tradition dating back to 1985.
Our journey began when quality fishing tackle and artificial lures were nearly impossible to find in local stores. Driven by passion and the needs of local anglers, we started handcrafting our own fishing lures, testing them with experienced fishermen near Vidzeme’s lakes and rivers.
After over two years of field testing, development, and gathering feedback, we began producing durable, high-performing spoons and spinning lures tailored to local fishing conditions. Despite limited resources and no access to business loans at the time, we invested in custom molds and tools to ensure consistent quality and performance.
Our early collaboration with the well-known company Salmo helped us reach more anglers and expand our production. Even though the market has evolved and competition has grown, especially after the fall of the Russian market, our commitment to high-quality fishing lures has remained unchanged.

Each lure is hand-painted by a skilled artist and made from strong, high-quality materials, with components sourced for durability and reliability. Our customers regularly share success stories of catching big catfish, pike, trout, and other predatory fish using our lures.
While international brands like Rapala dominate the premium segment, our mission is to offer a more affordable, high-quality alternative for serious anglers across Europe and beyond.
If you’re looking for handmade fishing lures, tested by time and trusted by anglers, you’ve come to the right place. We are open to bulk orders, wholesale partnerships, and custom lure designs.
